The 2026 Korea International Streaming Festival (KISF 2026) will be held at the Busan Cinema Center and its vicinity from June 18 to 21.

Co-hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and Busan Metropolitan City, and co-organized by the Korea International Streaming Festival (KISF) and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), KISF 2026 is Korea’s sole and largest global Streaming​ platform festival. The event serves as a comprehensive hub for streaming-based content and technology, featuring global OTT series, reality and variety shows, FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) services, Enter-Tech, music, and short-form media.

Building on its successful evolution from a sidebar event of the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) to a major independent platform, the Festival has been highly acclaimed for fostering the convergence of media, culture, and technology. The 2025 edition featured a robust lineup, including the Global OTT Awards, International Streaming Summit, investment pitch showcases, and OST concerts. Notably, the inaugural FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) program drew over 300 experts to discuss future growth potential, successfully expanding the industry’s strategic agenda.

Leveraging these achievements, the Festival has been officially rebranded as the "Korea International Streaming Festival" for 2026 to solidify its identity as Korea’s representative global Streaming​ platform and further elevate its international standing.

As a pivotal platform bridging content, technology, industry and audiences, KISF 2026 will provide deep insights the global streaming ecosystem, drive the global expansion of K-content, and lead discussions on next-generation media innovation. Meanwhile, the 2026 Global OTT Awards has been accepting international submissions since February 25. Online applications are open until March 25. The awards ceremony will be held at 7:00PM (KST) on Saturday, June 20, at the Busan Cinema Center’s Outdoor Theater. The Awards comprises 19 categories (14 competitive and 5 invitational), highlighting the year’s best achievements in sectors such as Best Creative, Best OTT Original, People’s Choice, and Best Short-form.
